A pop-up book based on a story about a memory of a violent true event.

A research collaboration with Mamdooh Afdile, assistant professor of film and media, Stockholms Konstnärliga Högskola/Stockholm University of the Arts.

Made for Stockholm University of the Arts Research Week, 2023. My pop-up book was included as part of a presentation, in the lecture  “Exploring theme-driven storytelling”  by researchers Maria Hedman Hvitfeldt, film director,  Alexander Skantze, playwright and Mamdooh Afdile. The story, about male violence against women, was the basis for the continued research; how can such a story be told from other angles than, for example, the true-crime genre.
