ARTISTS INTERPRET THE AP FUNDS
Art actions against the Swedish Pension Funds' fossil holdings.
The state AP funds (General Pension Funds) manage SEK 2,000 billion of taxpayers' pension money. Several billion kroner are invested in the fossil industry. Despite the Paris Agreement, of which Sweden is a part. Climate activists Anna Bokström and Johanna Norrbo have worked together in the international network Fossil Free and decided in 2020 to invite the Network for Art and Climate to raise the issues.
It resulted in two actions in Stockholm and Gothenburg, exhibitions at Havremagasinet Länskonsthall, Boden and at Galleri 54, Gothenburg, and lectures.
